Who You Are
You are an experienced minute taker with proven clerical experience, adept at working within a team in a pressurized environment. You possess strong word processing skills and have experience in taking minutes in a formal setting, with an ability to take clear and concise notes. You demonstrate adaptability and flexibility, coping well with sensitive information, particularly relating to child protection. Your communication skills are excellent, enabling you to liaise effectively with professionals within Social Care and outside bodies.
What the Job Involves
The role involves providing administrative support to the Cared for Teams and Young Persons Team. This includes taking minutes during Strategy Meetings and other professional meetings, typing formal correspondence, organizing and filing reports and records, handling telephone and mail processes, and fulfilling reception duties. Participation in supervision sessions, training, and developmental activities is expected. The role requires maintaining client information accurately and lawfully, according to the Data Protection Act 1998 and confidentiality practices. While based at Magdalen House in Bootle, you may need to work at other Children’s Services sites within the Sefton Borough as required.
