What the Job Involves
The General Domestic Assistant is responsible for performing a range of domestic duties to ensure a high standard of cleanliness and a safe, pleasant environment. Duties include general cleaning tasks, assisting in kitchen operations, serving meals and refreshments, and maintaining health and safety standards. The role involves using equipment safely, participating in team meetings, maintaining records, and contributing to effective communication with colleagues. You may be required to work evenings, weekends, and bank holidays. Compliance with health and safety, equality and diversity, and safeguarding policies is essential.
