Who You Are
You are a dedicated professional with a strong background in youth justice, experienced in working directly with young people and committed to preventing offending or re-offending. You hold qualifications in Social Work, are a qualified NPS Probation Officer, or are a seasoned Youth Justice worker with PCEP. You can operate effectively within a hybrid working model, with willingness to perform office duties and visits within St Helens and Liverpool.
What the Job Involves
The role involves the completion of high-quality assessments and reports for out of court panels and courts. You will maintain accurate and timely records on relevant systems, deliver interventions in line with Child First principles to support children and young people, and manage an allocated caseload with diligence to meet timescales. As a representative of the youth justice service, you will be required to attend Youth Magistrates and Crown Courts, cover duty, and undertake other tasks as directed.
