What the Job Involves
The Service Co-ordinator will assist the management team in ensuring compliance with statutory regulations and company policies. You will act as a Shift Lead, managing the activities and staff, and providing support to the people the service supports. Your role includes the administration of medication, supporting joint working arrangements, conducting risk assessments, and ensuring the security of buildings and information.
You will also be responsible for reporting repairs, processing payments, developing support plans, and maintaining high-quality service provisions. Collaboration with internal and external stakeholders, families, and carers is crucial to delivering successful outcomes.
Skills
- Health and Social Care Qualification (Level 2 or equivalent)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and quality standards
- Person-centered approach to care and support
- Good communication skills
- IT literate
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Able to build relationships and promote partnership working
- Experience in social care settings
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours
