What the Job Involves
The job involves working in day care services to enhance the life and social skills of adults with various disabilities. You will implement and deliver activities from community hubs, provide personal care, and help achieve individual outcomes. Responsibilities include monitoring health and well-being, contributing to care plans, handling finances, adhering to health and safety policies, and maintaining professional relationships. Additionally, you will mentor new staff, support fundraising and social events, and undertake ad hoc tasks as needed.
