What the Job Involves
As an Area Team Leader, you will assist the Head of Building Control by leading a team of Building Control Officers to ensure compliance with Building Regulations. You will support the Building Safety Regulator and oversee the development and implementation of the Council’s service delivery policies. The role involves administration and enforcement of legislation, financial planning, and the provision of technical expertise and advice. You will participate in inspections and manage projects from pre-submission to completion, ensuring efficient service delivery.
