You are an experienced social worker committed to applying your expertise in ensuring the safeguarding and duty of care for adults, children, families, and carers. You should be registered with the Health and Care Professional Council (HCPC), with evidence of continued professional development. Proven experience and a passionate commitment to promoting independence and wellbeing are essential.
What the Job Involves
The role requires you to independently manage a caseload and conduct a variety of community care and safeguarding assessments. You will provide critical support and information to enable individuals, families, and communities to access services. The job involves coordinating with colleagues and agencies, recording and analyzing information, and providing expert opinions and case supervision. Additionally, you will recruit and support prospective carers, manage placements, and work across organizational boundaries to ensure integrated service delivery.
Skills
- Social work qualification (Degree, DipSW or equivalent)
- Knowledge of relevant legislation (e.g., Children Act, Care Act)
- Experience in multi-agency teamwork
- Assessment and planning expertise
- Outstanding communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with confidentiality practices and data protection
- Strong IT skills, particularly in Microsoft Office
