What the Job Involves
You will be providing safe and person-centered care and support to adults identified as 'at risk', fulfilling the basic needs outlined in their support plans and risk assessments. You will assist with personal care tasks, monitor the changes in behavior and progress of service users, and involve yourself in planning and executing daily activities. You will ensure safety when transporting service users and medication, and contribute to maintaining accurate records and quality standards of care in line with the council's policies.

- Ability to provide physical assistance and deliver quality care
- Strong written communication for filling forms and writing reports
- Commitment to person-centered care and service improvement
- Effective team working and open communication
- Understanding of Equal Opportunities and Anti-Discriminatory practice
- Motivational skills for service user independence
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors and situations
- NVQ 2 Care qualification or willingness to train
