Who You Are

You are an experienced children's social worker with over 3 years of post-qualification experience. You have a strong background in working with Children in Care and Children Looked After. You are adept at engaging with and directly working with children and young people. You take a methodical and organized approach to care and placement planning, aiming to minimize risk and ensure long-term improved outcomes. You are driven by the goal to secure stable placements that meet individual needs and are excited to be part of a high-quality team committed to collaborative practice improvement in Liverpool Children's Services.

What the Job Involves

As a social worker in our Permanence Teams, you will be responsible for engaging with children in care, working on care and placement planning, and minimizing risk with a strategic mindset. You will ensure that placements are stable and tailored to meet individual needs, prioritizing the well-being and future outcomes of children and young people. You will join a committed team of professionals aimed at making Liverpool a center of excellence for social work.
