Who You Are
We are seeking an experienced Residential Children's Home Support Worker who has direct experience working in a residential children's home setting. You are adept in collaborating with vulnerable children and young people with social, emotional, and behavioural difficulties. You hold a Level 3 Diploma in Children and Young People, Residential Care, or Social Care, and possess a current enhanced DBS.
What the Job Involves
Based in a 'GOOD' rated children's home in Liverpool, you will work as part of a team to create a supportive, nurturing environment for children and young people. Responsibilities include contributing to the home's daily operations to meet children's needs regarding education, social development, health, and wellbeing. You will develop positive relationships with children and young people, helping them process life experiences and understand their strengths and aspirations for the future. You will follow policies and procedures and collaborate with partner agencies to safeguard the children and young people.
Skills
