As an Advanced Social Work Practitioner, you are someone committed to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of vulnerable adults and their families. You will support Social Workers in managing complex caseloads and provide leadership and professional supervision where required. You have a critical knowledge of social work theories and models and are capable of constructive challenge to improve practice and procedures. You possess the ability to work collaboratively within cross-functional teams and are dedicated to ensuring high-quality service standards.
What the Job Involves
This role involves carrying a caseload of Service Users with complex needs and facilitating reflective practice amongst Social Workers. You will assist the management team in the development of the Social Care workforce and contribute to safeguarding initiatives. High complexity cases require your leadership and knowledge sharing with colleagues and professionals in other domains. You will participate in risk management, resource allocation, and legally compliant data management, while ensuring continuous professional development and adherence to health and safety policies. As part of the role, you may also fulfill duties defined by the Mental Health Act, including working within a 24-7 shift pattern, if required.
