Who You Are
We are seeking an Advanced Practitioner in Social Care with a focus on Safeguarding. You are an experienced social worker with at least 3 years of experience in a permanent post-qualification role, including completion of your ASYE. You must have strong court skills and a proven track record in safeguarding. A car driver with access to a vehicle is essential for this role. You will join a supportive and collaborative team at Liverpool Children's Services, committed to improving outcomes for children and families.
What the Job Involves
In this role, you will be part of a team dedicated to enhancing social work practices and supporting the well-being of children and their families in Liverpool. You will work in a coordinated way with other services, including the Family Group Conference Service, family support workers, and Early Help Offer. You will receive regular reflective supervision and support from a stable management group consisting of a permanent team manager and service manager. The position offers an initial 3-month contract with opportunities for extension, providing stability for children and young people. The role includes a blend of remote and on-site working in Liverpool, 3 days per week.
