What the Job Involves
This role involves taking responsibility for complex cases, providing high-quality outreach and home-based support to children and families. You will conduct early help assessments, arrange Team Around the Family meetings, and support vulnerable children and young people, including those with complex emotional and mental health issues. The role requires you to assess risks, formulate and review plans, and support families in developing positive parenting strategies. Regular visits to families and effective record-keeping are essential. You will be part of a committed team, working towards the city council’s vision and objectives, and will actively participate in training and development activities.
