Who You Are
An experienced social worker with at least three years of permanent statutory social work experience. You are knowledgeable in working with children in care and children looked after, with excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people. A dedicated professional committed to improving long-term outcomes, you bring a methodical and organized approach to care and placement planning. You are a car driver with access to a vehicle and are excited about the opportunity to bring your expertise to the Permanence Team within Liverpool Children's Services.
What the Job Involves
As an Advanced Practitioner in the Permanence Team, you will work collaboratively with a high-quality senior leadership team committed to practice improvement. Your responsibilities will include ensuring stable placements that meet the needs of children, understanding Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation and processes, and minimizing risks through a structured and organized approach. You will work on-site in Liverpool for three days a week, with two days allocated for homeworking. Your role is pivotal in making Liverpool a place where quality social work flourishes.
