Advanced Practitioner (Social Care) - Permanence Team
Who You Are
You are an experienced social worker with a minimum of 3 years of permanent statutory experience. You are dedicated to improving the lives of children and young people, particularly those in care or looked after situations. You have strong engagement and direct working skills with children and young people and possess a thorough understanding of Corporate Parenting and Children Looked After legislation. You are organized, methodical, and committed to ensuring stable placements that meet individual needs. You are also required to be a car driver with access to a vehicle.
What the Job Involves
As an Advanced Practitioner in the Permanence Team, you will work with children in care and ensure their long-term improved outcomes. You will be responsible for care and placement planning while minimizing risks. You will collaborate with the senior leadership team in Liverpool Children's Services, which is committed to improving practice through collaboration. The role entails working on-site in Liverpool for 3 days a week with 2 days of home working.
