Who You Are
You are a compassionate and dedicated social worker who is committed to providing targeted support to vulnerable children and young people. Your focus is on preventing family breakdown and supporting those on the verge of needing further intervention. You are experienced in working with cases involving emotional and behavioral difficulties, neglect, domestic abuse, and issues related to parental mental health or substance/alcohol misuse.
What the Job Involves
This role involves providing intensive interventions to help maintain family care arrangements and prevent escalation to statutory intervention. You will deliver a wraparound service, including therapeutic support, to repair family relationships and ensure children can remain with their families. Your role will include holding complex cases that require a focused approach, supporting families in crisis, and collaborating with related service teams.
