You are committed to supporting children and families, taking on whole case responsibility with a focus on preventing the need for statutory services. You are a proactive professional who uses a whole family approach to deliver early help. Your role involves working with children of varying ages and their families, especially where the SEND Code of Practice is applicable.
What the Job Involves
This role involves taking the lead in supporting families by acting as a Lead Professional for children transitioning from social care. You will conduct Family Help assessments, coordinate professional meetings, and provide intensive support for vulnerable children. You will be tasked with creating and managing plans that mitigate risks, employing de-escalation techniques, and supporting families in developing stronger relationships. You will maintain accurate electronic records and ensure the ongoing safeguarding of children.
