Who You Are

You are a qualified Social Worker who is passionate about safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and their families. You have the ability to manage a caseload under supervision and work effectively within statutory, organizational, and multi-agency systems. You are committed to continuous professional development and maintaining the highest standards of conduct and performance.

What the Job Involves

This role involves managing protected caseloads, assessing the needs of children and young people, and developing multi-agency plans to address identified needs. You will be responsible for preparing care plans, conducting timely assessments, and promoting the participation of all relevant agencies, children, and families. Your duties also include preparing complex reports, investigating allegations of neglect or abuse, and representing the department in legal matters. Additionally, you will support the learning and development of other social workers and engage in developmental activities to improve services.
