You have a passion for ensuring the safety and well-being of children and young people through effective and timely intervention and partnership working.
What the Job Involves
This role involves managing a protected caseload within a framework of supervision. Key responsibilities include conducting assessments, planning, implementing actions, and evaluating outcomes to ensure effective use of resources. You will contribute to the learning, training, and development goals of the organization and promote the welfare and safeguarding of children and young people. Additionally, the job requires you to handle challenging cases, mentor student social workers, and participate in the service improvement initiatives. Senior-level roles may involve specialist tasks supporting team development, quality assurance, and partnership efforts at the community level.
