What the Job Involves
The role involves providing professional and technical services within a dual-council setting, focusing on regulatory, compliance, and enforcement activities. Responsibilities include managing and inspecting personal caseloads, undertaking housing inspections, enforcing housing regulations, supporting joint working and legal proceedings, and participating in team and council meetings. The Environmental Protection Officer plays a key role in maintaining housing standards, addressing public health concerns, and ensuring effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
