You are also physically capable of handling and moving records safely.

What the Job Involves

As an Information Governance Officer, you will support the organisation’s records management and information governance functions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with the review and appraisal of records, ensuring compliance with organisational and legal requirements.
  • Listing paper files onto the Physical Records Management System accurately.
  • Collaborating with staff to validate and correct metadata.
  • Physically handling records in accordance with manual handling guidance.
  • Supporting information audits to manage records in line with policies and obligations.

Skills

  • Proficiency with IT systems related to records management
