The ideal candidate has demonstrable experience in children's social care or a similar environment with considerable administrative experience. You excel in computing, particularly MS Office, managing office systems, and setting up administrative/financial systems. You possess the ability to handle confidential matters sensitively, have excellent literacy and numeracy skills, effective collaboration capabilities, and can prioritize tasks efficiently.
What the Job Involves
As an Administrative Support Assistant, you will assist the service in meeting statutory obligations, providing timely and effective services to children, young people, their families, and carers. Your role includes supporting the business needs of Children’s Social Care, enabling effective access to the service for users, liaising with partner organizations, collating data, supporting service projects, and handling a range of administrative tasks such as document preparation, minute writing, and meeting organization.
