Who You Are
You are a compassionate and skilled Social Worker with a strong background in adult services. You possess a recognized Social Work qualification and are registered with Social Work England. With experience in multi-disciplinary social care environments, you prioritize empathy, sensitivity, and resilience while promoting equality and diversity. Your ability to speak fluent English, as required by Part 7 of the Immigration Act, ensures effective communication with service users and professionals. You are self-reliant, organized, and adaptable, willing to embrace change and work collaboratively to enhance the well-being of vulnerable populations.
What the job involves
The role involves conducting comprehensive assessments of risk and care needs for service users and their carers. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing tailored support and protection to individuals and families. Key tasks include implementing care plans, facilitating service provision, engaging with individuals at risk, and collaborating with various agencies. Your responsibilities extend to statutory reviews, stakeholder negotiations, and the management of client records. Additionally, you will promote equality, diversity, and rights, while maintaining professional relationships with service users, their families, and other professionals. Your role will also involve supervising staff and students, contributing to multi-disciplinary teams, and fostering an environment of continuous professional development.
