What the Job Involves
The role involves greeting all visitors and providing them with efficient and professional service. You will offer basic advice and information on council services and liaise with partner organizations. Additionally, you will handle both administrative and call handling duties for campaigns, escalate issues to management, and provide coverage for job-share partners during their absence. Regular use of IT systems to manage data and information is essential, and ongoing skill development is encouraged to maintain service excellence. You will collaborate with your line manager to ensure continuity in staffing and participate actively in team communications and reviews.
