What the job involves
The Regeneration Project Officer role focuses on developing and managing projects aimed at revitalizing town centers, including exploring funding and partnership opportunities. You will set up and implement systems for effective project management, liaise with various stakeholders, and manage external consultants. Additionally, you'll be responsible for preparing project reports and funding claims, ensuring compliance with grant conditions, and overseeing the project marketing and promotion activities. You will also manage the town centre empty property database and support the management of in-house regeneration projects.
Skills
- Project Management qualification or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Understanding of project management methods and techniques
- Experience managing projects, including externally funded projects
- Excellent communication and organization skills
