What the job involves
Your role involves overseeing the implementation of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) for children aged two to five years. You will lead the planning, implementation, and evaluation of a dynamic early years curriculum, ensuring a commitment to anti-discriminatory practice. As a key person for a group of children, you are responsible for assessing their development through observations, maintaining developmental records, and contributing actively to senior management team meetings.
Your work is primarily based in a classroom setting within LB Camden’s Children’s Centres and involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team. The role requires flexibility to adapt to shift patterns and occasionally working outside normal hours.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Experience with early years curriculum planning and evaluation
