A dedicated and experienced social work professional with a focus on Adult Social Care. We are looking for someone with strong leadership and management skills, capable of overseeing a high-performing team. You should have a comprehensive understanding of social work practice, legislation, and risk management, along with the capacity to support and mentor staff.
What the job involves:
The role requires managing and delivering operational services within a specified locality, promoting high-quality social work practice. You will be responsible for supporting adults to remain independent, ensuring timely support services, and preventing hospital admissions. The role involves overseeing complex cases, safeguarding, and undertaking audits. You will contribute to team development and service improvement while ensuring compliance with The Care Act's principles. As an Advanced Practitioner, you will provide expertise in areas such as Neighbourhoods, Intermediate Care, Mental Health, Community Learning Disabilities, and more.
