Who You Are

As an Experienced Social Worker, you will be joining the Children with Disabilities Team at Swindon Borough Council. You are passionate about safeguarding and supporting disabled children to reach their full potential. You bring experience in both safeguarding and disabilities, along with a commitment to innovative practices based on current research.

What the Job Involves

Your role will be part of a dedicated team, co-located at the Saltway Centre, working alongside multi-agency partners to deliver a comprehensive support service. You will focus on ensuring the safety and well-being of disabled children in Swindon, recognizing their increased vulnerability to abuse compared to their non-disabled peers. You will utilize your specialized skills to provide holistic services to children, young people, and their families, contributing to a bespoke, motivated service environment.
