What the Job Involves
As an Accommodation Needs Assessment Officer, you will conduct specialist assessments of temporary accommodation needs for households under the Housing Act 1996. You will collaborate with legal services to respond to legal challenges, provide comprehensive housing advice to prevent homelessness, and manage complex housing cases. This role involves developing effective working relationships with clients and stakeholders, implementing housing plans, and ensuring the accurate recording of data on homelessness.
