Who You Are
We are looking for an experienced and skilled Deputy Team Manager to join our Safeguarding team on a temporary basis. You are well-versed in Children's Safeguarding, specifically in managing risk within Child Protection, and comfortable in a fast-paced and demanding environment. Ideally, you are also a Practice Educator with a sound knowledge of relevant children's legislation and guidance.
What the job involves
The Deputy Team Manager role is non-case holding and involves covering for an absence, starting immediately on a 3-month contract. You'll work closely with a Team Manager to support a busy social work team comprised of approximately 10 social workers of varying experience and qualifications. Your focus will be on improving practice and performance and advancing outcomes for the children and young people we serve.
