Who You Are

You are a qualified Social Worker registered with Social Work England. You have a good knowledge of child protection legislation and are skilled at assessment, analysis, and decision-making. You thrive in managing a fast-paced caseload and work effectively under pressure, utilizing your excellent communication and partnership-working abilities.

What the Job Involves

Your role involves undertaking timely, high-quality assessments of children and families referred to the Assessment Team to ensure safeguarding and welfare promotion according to statutory duties and local procedures. Your responsibilities include completing child and family assessments within statutory timescales, analyzing risk and need, undertaking Section 17 and Section 47 enquiries, and developing outcome-focused plans with families and multi-agency professionals. You'll also maintain high-quality case records, attend strategy meetings, and apply relevant legislation and safeguarding procedures in practice.
