Who You Are

You are an experienced Independent Reviewing Officer with a deep understanding and knowledge of the Looked After Children legislation, processes, and regulatory framework. With at least 3 years of permanent post-qualification experience, you are prepared to start within four weeks and contribute effectively to the team.

What the Job Involves

The position involves independently reviewing Looked After Children Reviews, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Child Sexual Exploitation meetings, and Missing from Care meetings in accordance with statutory requirements and guidance. This role specifically is for an Independent Reviewing Officer and excludes responsibilities related to Child Protection Officer duties. You will be required to work on-site at least three days per week at the office base in L6 3BH. This is an initial three-month placement compensated at £40 per hour under ltd/umbrella status, with free car parking on site.
