You are an experienced social worker with a strong background in managing CIN/CP and PLO work. You excel at handling section 47 investigations and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You have a dedication to ensuring the child is at the center of your work and a commitment to achieving outstanding practice. You are seeking a temporary position with robust support and supervision to further enhance your understanding of St Helens practice standards.
What the Job Involves
In this role, you will be part of The Duty Service, responding to referrals from the MASH and initiating necessary assessments and plans for children. You will be part of a short-term team that holds cases involving CIN with the aim of stepping them down, or in instances requiring longer-term support for CP and PLO cases, transferring them at the first planning meeting. The work will be hybrid, requiring a minimum of 2 days in the office per week, with the expectation of being in the office for all 5 days on duty weeks.
