What the Job Involves

This interim role involves working closely with the Transport Advisor to manage and oversee the mobilisation, governance, and delivery of a high-profile transformation programme. You will establish and embed robust programme governance structures, reporting frameworks, and assurance processes. You will coordinate multiple workstreams and ensure effective transition from design to implementation. Additionally, you will provide delivery leadership across strategic change projects, ensure alignment with organisational strategies, and prepare concise executive reports and programme briefings. Building strong relationships with senior leaders, partners, unions, and regulatory bodies is essential, as is managing complex risks and overseeing commercial and operational transitions.

  • Strong governance, assurance, and risk management skills

  • Experience in local government, transport, or regulated services (desirable)
