What the Job Involves

The Caretaker is responsible for maintaining the estates and communal areas in a safe, clean, and welcoming condition. This involves scheduled cleaning tasks, safe operation and upkeep of equipment, and compliance with Health and Safety guidelines. The role requires collaboration with colleagues and residents to respond to estate incidents, manage waste, and enhance service delivery. You will also report defects, ensure compliance with council policies, and deliver excellent customer service. Adapting to changing needs, contributing to increased customer satisfaction, and taking initiative to improve service efficiency are key components of this role.
