What the Job Involves
This role involves conducting statutory assessments, planning for children's futures, and managing risk to ensure safety and stable long-term outcomes for children and families. Key responsibilities include:
- Undertaking statutory assessments and risk analysis.
- Developing and implementing outcome-focused care plans.
- Identifying and responding to safeguarding concerns.
- Direct work with families to support and facilitate change.
- Preparing for and participating in court proceedings.
- Progressing permanence plans such as adoption and long-term fostering.
- Partnering with agencies for coordinated support.
- Maintaining accurate records and accountability.
- Engaging in professional development and training.
