What the job involves
As a Team Manager, you will lead a frontline children's social work team, overseeing assessments, Child in Need, Child Protection, pre-proceedings, and care proceedings. You will handle day-to-day team management, quality of practice, performance, and ensure children remain the focus of all decision-making processes. This involves strong collaboration with senior managers and partner agencies, regular supervision and support for social workers, and the facilitation of a culture of openness and performance improvement.
