Who You Are
You are a trained professional with recent Independent Reviewing Officer experience and the ability to start within 4 weeks. You have a deep understanding of Safeguarding and Children's legislation, processes, and regulatory framework. Importantly, you have at least 3 years of post-qualification experience as per DfE regulations, which should be clearly marked on your CV whether permanent or agency based.
What the Job Involves
The job involves independently chairing Looked After Children Reviews, Secure Accommodation Reviews, Child Sexual Exploitation, and Missing from Care meetings in line with statutory requirements and guidance. Within this role, you will ensure that the voice of the children and young people is heard and their wishes and feelings are considered thoroughly. You will also monitor and quality assure care plans to ensure they meet the needs, ensuring reviews are on schedule with no delay. The job includes at least 3 days of onsite work per week with a 3-month initial placement term.
