Who You Are
As an Advanced Practitioner in Social Care, you should have a minimum of 3 years of permanent social work statutory experience and be a qualified car driver with access to a vehicle.
Experienced in working with children in care and children looked after, you must have excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people.
It is vital that you are knowledgeable about corporate parenting and have a solid understanding of legislation and processes related to children looked after.
What the Job Involves
Working in the Permanence Team, you will focus on care and placement planning, aiming to minimise risk through a methodical and organized approach. The goal is to ensure long-term, improved outcomes for children by securing stable placements suited to their individual needs.
As part of the Liverpool Children's Services, you will be part of a forward-thinking team led by senior leaders dedicated to collaborative practice improvement. You will spend 3 days on-site in Liverpool and have 2 days of homeworking each week.
The role offers a competitive pay rate of £40 per hour under umbrella/ltd status.
