Who You Are
You are an advanced practitioner with over three years of permanent social work statutory experience, specifically in working with children in care and children looked after. You have excellent engagement and direct working skills with children and young people. You also have a good understanding of corporate parenting, children looked after legislation, and processes.
What the job involves
This role is part of the Permanence Team at Liverpool Children's Services. You will be responsible for care and placement planning, minimizing risk, and ensuring long-term improved outcomes for children. You will work with a methodical and organized approach to ensure stable placements that meet individual needs. You are expected to work three days on-site in Liverpool per week, with two days of homeworking.
