Who You Are:
You are a dedicated and qualified social worker with a Dip SW, BA, or MA in Social Work or equivalent, with registration or pending registration with Social Work England. You possess applied knowledge of Community Care Legislation, including the Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act 2005. You demonstrate the ability to manage complex caseloads, communicate effectively in high-risk situations, and advocate for adults with care and support needs. Experience in service delivery within a multicultural population is an advantage.
What the Job Involves:
As part of the Adult Social Care Service, you will assess individual needs, plan and co-design support plans, and manage your caseload within the legislative frameworks. You will prepare reports for court hearings and participate in safeguarding procedures. Your role involves working collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams, engaging with service users, carers, and families to ensure they receive appropriate care. You are responsible for ensuring the financial and operational delivery of services and maintaining accurate client information.
