What the Job Involves
This role involves providing a customer-orientated Building Control Service by assessing building plans for compliance, conducting site inspections, and enforcing regulations. You will engage with internal and external stakeholders, addressing public safety concerns, and promoting the service offerings. This position also requires participation in an emergency call-out rota and involves maintaining comprehensive and accurate records in line with the Council's policies.

- Competent user of IT systems
- Sound knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation
