Who You Are

You are a qualified and experienced social worker with a degree in social work or equivalent qualification and current registration with SWECC. You bring a minimum of two years of post-qualification experience in statutory children's social care services. Your adept understanding of child development, family dynamics, and relevant legislation combined with exceptional organizational skills allows you to effectively manage fluctuating caseloads and make informed, child-centered judgments.

What the Job Involves

Your role involves contributing to the optimal delivery of effective children's social care services. You will manage a complex caseload, prepare reports, participate in multidisciplinary forums, and deliver protective services to children at risk. You will perform direct work with children and families as part of the Children's Social Care team, designed to safeguard vulnerable children and continuously improve their outcomes. Additionally, you will oversee the management, teaching, and assessment of social work students and ensure accurate data entry on all cases.
