You are a dedicated Customer Service Advisor who excels in being the first point of contact for residents, particularly in relation to council tax inquiries. You are committed to offering exceptional customer service, adept at handling sensitive information, and skilled at resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
What the Job Involves
As a Customer Service Advisor, your responsibilities include handling a variety of tasks such as managing inbound calls about Council Services, assisting residents with their council tax bills and payments, setting up payment plans, and addressing council tax related issues such as arrears and exemptions. You will ensure compliance with council policies and maintain accurate records of all customer interactions.
Skills
- Experience with CTAX billing and recovery
- Proficiency in using Revenue systems like NEC Northgate
- Current BPSS certification
- Exceptional customer service
- Ability to handle sensitive information
- Strong problem-solving skills
