Who You Are
You are dedicated to working with children and young people at risk of entering the criminal justice system. You possess experience in supporting young people and their families to overcome barriers and leverage their strengths. You are committed to engaging them in positive programs that divert them from antisocial behavior and criminality through assessment and collaborative intervention planning.
What the Job Involves
Your primary role is to provide a range of services to courts, families, young offenders, young people at risk, victims, and the community. You will develop projects and activities that enhance young people's skills, confidence, and personal development. You will work collaboratively with other agencies to maximize resources and opportunities for young people. The position requires regular evening and weekend work and compliance with Liverpool City Council’s policies.
Skills
- Experience working with young people and families
- Ability to assess, plan, and deliver interventions
- Experience in partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies
- Strong advocacy skills
- Capability to maintain accurate records
