What the Job Involves
The role involves contributing to the effective delivery of Children's Social Care Services by managing a complex caseload and collaborating within multidisciplinary teams. You will prepare court statements, assess risk and needs, and ensure high-quality data entry and reporting. Responsibilities include providing protective and supportive services, communicating effectively in challenging situations, and participating in team and performance development reviews. You will also oversee the practice learning of social work students and ensure all practices comply with legal standards and reflect the department's values of equality and diversity.
Skills
- Knowledge of relevant legislative frameworks (e.g., Children Act 1989/2004)
- Ability to manage complex and varied caseloads
